Mark Abbott

Mark Abbott is a managing director and the chief operating officer for Global Equities at Raymond James. He joined the firm over 18 years ago as assistant to the chairman; he went on to hold leadership roles in technology and operations before joining Global Equities & Investment Banking. Before serving in the role of COO for Global Equities, Mark was responsible for the group’s activities in international markets including Europe and Asia. Prior to Raymond James, Mark spent several years in technology product development with public companies and venture backed startups. He received a bachelor of science degree in engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
