Samantha Fernandez

Samantha Fernandez is a business development consultant for the Midwest division with Raymond James Financial Services. She previously worked as the assistant division director for the Southeast division.

Before serving ICD, Samantha worked as an auditor in Compliance where she built a knowledge of industry and firm regulations and how they should be implemented on a daily basis within the branch. During her audit role, she took on a special project to assist with on-site training for a Morgan Keegan branch during the transition to Raymond James. The training role afforded her a working knowledge of many Raymond James processes, systems and resources.

Following her time in Compliance, Samantha has spent the last five years building her market and product knowledge as the internal consultant for the state of Florida with Asset Management Services. She consulted with advisors on product knowledge and practice management, worked closely with new recruits, and mentored advisors on growing their practice.

During her time at Raymond James, she has acquired her Series 7, 66 and 24 securities licenses. Samantha completed her MBA with the University of Florida in April of 2019.

In her free time she spends time with family and friends and enjoys outdoor pastimes.
