Jonathan Richie
Jonathan began his career with Raymond James toward the tail end of 2007 in Asset Management Services where he spent three years in operations and quality assurance. In 2010, he joined the RJFS Compliance team, spending several years traveling to branches throughout the country for its annual compliance examination. During that time, he partnered with branch managers, financial advisors and their teams to navigate various regulatory, compliance and supervision matters.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Jonathan worked in hotel management – before, during and after his time at college. Service leadership is the foundation of his approach, which served him well in the hotel industry and was a natural fit with Raymond James’ Service 1stSM culture and philosophy.
Jonathan took a sabbatical in 2016 to travel internationally and to teach English in Vietnam, where he obtained his Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Certificate. He returned to the United States and Raymond James in 2018 in a supervision manager role for the Western Division, where he continued to build partnerships with branch managers, help mitigate risk, and resolve compliance issues as they arose.
Jonathan holds the Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses and is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
