Matthew Fisher is first vice president, investments, a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and Certified Retirement Plans Specialist® with Raymond James. He has served as a financial advisor for over 14 years. Matthew holds the following professional accreditations: Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 66 (Uniform State Law) and Series 31 (Managed Futures), as well as his life, health and accident insurance license.

He is a former active duty Army officer of eight years and served as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Matthew received the Bronze Star Medal for service during combat operations. He resigned his commission from the U.S. Army in 2003 with an honorable discharge and numerous decorations and citations, including a Ranger Tab, an Airborne Badge and an Air Assault Badge.

For his formal education, Matthew holds a B.S. in accounting from the State University of New York at Albany, a master’s degree in general administration from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in finance from Delaware Valley University.

Matthew is married to Jennifer and has one child, Hayden. A past commander for VFW Post 175 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Matthew currently coaches his son’s youth sports teams in the Warrington community. He enjoys fishing, golfing and skiing with his family.
