Kjersten Lazar is passionate about helping people find enlightened answers to their financial questions and concerns. For more than 25 years, she has found great fulfillment in empowering and educating clients about financial matters, and providing thoughtful one-on-one guidance that can truly make a difference in their lives.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Kjersten believes in ongoing education and is committed to upholding high ethical standards. She is also a Certified Investment Management Consultant, having demonstrated specialized knowledge in modern portfolio management, asset allocation and portfolio performance measurement.

Kjersten earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Michigan State University and began her career as a financial advisor in 1993 with Prudential Securities in Stamford, Connecticut, where she rose to several managerial positions. In 2005, she joined Smith Barney as a vice president and producing sales manager. Two years later, she joined Raymond James, where she now serves on the Technology Advisory Council and is a member and occasional speaker for the Women Financial Advisors Network. Her insight has also been featured in Financial Planning magazine and Financial Advisor IQ.

Her passion for helping people extends to her community. She is a frequent volunteer for all family events and community outreach at Temple Beth Shalom; she is the co-chair of the committee that brings the Israeli Scouts to local schools and nursing homes, served on the board of trustees and currently serves the V’Havta Caring Collective for community outreach as well as the fundraising committees. She is also an active participant in the synagogue’s annual food drive for St. John’s Food Pantry.

She serves on the board of trustees for Players Eye Soccer, and has served as a volunteer soccer coach for five years. In addition, Kjersten is a T.E.A.M. Tuskers mentor at an area high school, and a Community Cares volunteer, helping to create care packages during the holiday season. Her service to the community was recognized by the City of Stamford with the Outstanding Adult Volunteer Award.
