Raymond James Investment Banking Professionals recognized as Emerging Leaders by The M&A Advisor

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The M&A Advisor named Raymond James investment bankers Scott Green and Japhet Wuensch to its 10th Annual Emerging Leaders list1. On September 17th, The M&A Advisor will host a black tie awards gala at the New York Athletic Club in Manhattan to introduce Green, Wuensch, and the other Emerging Leaders Award winners to the business community and celebrate their achievements.

In the last 12 months, Green and Wuensch have closed over 20 combined transactions, including five of the largest and most notable IT Services transactions in North America and Europe – the sale of Pomeroy to Getronics for an undisclosed amount, the sale of Combell to Hg for an undisclosed amount, the sale of ConvergeOne to CVC for $1.8 billion, the sale of Conscia to Nordic Capital for an undisclosed amount, and the sale of Sirius Computer Solutions to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice for an undisclosed amount.

Scott Green is a Managing Director and leads the IT Services M&A practice within Raymond James Technology & Services Group. Green joined Raymond James in 2014. Prior to Raymond James, he served as a vice president at KeyBanc Capital Markets, a leading middle-market investment banking firm. Prior to KeyBanc Capital Markets, Green served as an associate at RBC Capital Markets. Green’s career began within the prestigious management development program at McMaster-Carr. He received a BA from the University of Chicago in 2004 and an MBA from Emory University in 2009.

Japhet Wuensch joined Raymond James in 2016 in connection with the acquisition of Mummert & Company. Previously, he served as a director for Mummert & Company where he was head of the hosted infrastructure advisory practice. Prior to Mummert & Company, Wuensch worked for Berenberg, advising on M&A and capital market transactions across Europe. He started his career at Adidas, where he worked in Corporate Controlling and Investor Relations. Wuensch earned a Bachelor of Science degree with first-class honors in business administration from Oxford Brookes University, UK, and an MBA from ESADE Business School, Spain, and the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland, where he received the Omega Award for graduating at the top of his class.
