Celebrating Pride Month at Raymond James

Raymond James celebrated Pride Month this past June with our Pride Inclusion Network leading education, awareness and participation efforts to support our LGBTQ+ community. It is our goal to bring LGBTQ+ associates and allies together to build and retain a diverse workforce while creating an inclusive environment. Raymond James is proud to be committed to celebrating and recognizing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment where our people feel safe and comfortable to bring their whole selves to work.

Our Pride Inclusion Network partnered with the local St. Petersburg community to celebrate all things LGBTQ+, raise awareness and educate associates on how they can become an ally and get involved in supporting diversity and inclusion. We had close to 300 Raymond James associates walk in the St. Pete Pride Parade and volunteer in the St. Pete Pride Street Festival the following day, handing out more than 1,400 snow cones to community members.

Coming this fall, Raymond James will be a sponsor of the Memphis Pride Fest at Mid-South Pride on September 28, 2019, where associates will join the Pride Inclusion Network chapter in our Memphis office to celebrate inclusion, Memphis style. There is a festival and a parade that travels through the historic Beale Street Entertainment District, so make plans now to get involved. Look for further announcements coming soon or contact Shannon Tucker here.

Here’s how Raymond James celebrated Pride Month:

  • Raising of the Pride Flag at our St. Petersburg home office on June 20-21
